Church Covid Team 2020
The executive of First United Church has formed a Covid Response Team to deal with all aspects regarding a SAFE return to use of our sanctuary for regular Sunday services.
Since early March we have been enjoying video recorded services via our website and also Facebook. The quality of these services is excellent and we thank all those involved in delivering them. There have been weeks when over 1300 people have viewed them, a wonderful reach.
It is possible that Premier Higgs will give the authorization for churches to reopen soon.
Our Covid Response Team, along with your executive, have decided, if given permission (or the authorization), we will hold off opening for now and continue with the video services. This decision was made with an abundance of caution and will be reviewed weekly.
